Al-Ain Samir Al-Rifai, head of the Political System Modernization Committee, met a group of people from the Southern Badia at the home of Dr. Omar Mashhour Al-Jazi.

The meeting revolved around the opinion of the people of the desert about the proposed reforms and other national issues related to the work of the Royal Committee. A number of attendees supported the opening of the Bedouin districts in the upcoming election law, and another section demanded that it remain as it is currently.

The attendees defended the decentralization experience and the need to improve it. They also supported the committee’s efforts to empower young people.
