A security source in the Irbid Police Directorate confirmed to the Jordan News Online that a twenty-year-old man committed suicide at noon today, Monday, in his family’s home in the eastern neighborhood of the city.

According to preliminary information, the suicide was carried out by “hanging himself” with a wire that he hung on “Marjeha.”

The source confirmed that the concerned authorities opened an investigation into the incident, while the body was transferred to Princess Basma Hospital in the city center.
