In the garden of a retired woman on the outskirts of Moscow, 454 marijuana bushes were found, and the woman justified her action by wanting to earn extra money on her simple pension.

Last year, the Drug Enforcement Service was informed of suspicions surrounding the home of a retired 63-year-old woman, Tatiana Ivanovna, from the village of Ogodnevo.

In August 2020, the police came to the grandmother’s house, and (the grandmother) had collected a “satisfactory” harvest, and only the remains and roots were left in the field.

This summer, DEA personnel decided to visit her early, and initially monitored her, spotting the grandmother from behind the fence carefully watering the marijuana bushes.

The retired lady was detained, and confirmed that she does not smoke these herbs, but she trades in them a little!

In total, more than 85 kilograms of raw marijuana was confiscated from the grandmother, and a felony case was opened against her for accusing her of “growing plants containing narcotic substances on a large scale.”
