The French newspaper Le Figaro said that, in just 15 years, Turkey had become one of the world’s leading producers of armed drones.

This came in a special report prepared by Le Figaro, affiliated with the largest French arms company, Dassault, on the drones, part of which was devoted to the Turkish marches.

The newspaper titled the section on Turkey with “technology in the service of Turkish foreign policy,” in which it explained that the Turkish “Cargo 2” rallies played an important role in the conflict between the Libyan government and the militia of retired general Khalifa Haftar.

She added that the Turkish marches contributed to Turkey’s advancement in the defense industry market, pointing out that it competed with the American, Israeli and Chinese models of marches, in just 15 years.

She pointed out that the Turkish rallies such as Kargo, Bayraktar, Anka, Karayl and Albago, enjoy their appropriate prices in addition to their great effectiveness.

She pointed out that Turkey started using its marches in foreign operations as of 2016, explaining that, with time, it played a major role in the process of liberating the Azerbaijani Karabakh region.

She added that Turkish rallies continue to spread around the world over time, as Turkey sells them to several countries such as Qatar, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Tunisia.

She said that NATO member Poland has reached an agreement with Turkey recently to buy rallies, adding that countries such as Latvia, Hungary and Albania are showing interest in Turkish rallies.
