Yesterday, Tuesday, the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, received the first batch of (113) Hummer vehicles through the port of Aqaba, as part of the development and modernization plans pursued by the armed forces to enhance the military capabilities of its forces.

The Director of Planning and Organization in the General Command of the Armed Forces said: “This batch is an introduction to a number of mechanisms that will be supplied to formations and units of the armed forces, through direct purchase, whether through manufacturers or through cooperation programs with friendly and brotherly countries.”

He added that the armed forces were provided with military vehicles, and part of them were transferred to the warehouses of the armed forces yesterday morning, and the rest of the vehicles will be transferred in the coming days.

The armed forces are seeking to provide their forces with the latest weapons, mechanisms and military equipment to be able to carry out their tasks and duties to the fullest extent to defend the security and stability of the homeland.
