Today, Saturday, 553 new cases of the new Corona virus were recorded in the Kingdom, bringing the total number of infections recorded in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic to 755,480 cases, including 6,795 active cases, according to the daily media summary issued by the Ministry of Health.

The injuries were distributed with 273 cases in the capital Amman, 83 cases in Zarqa Governorate, 77 cases in Irbid, 15 cases in Karak Governorate, while 11 cases were recorded in Ajloun, 15 cases in Mafraq, 18 cases in Jerash, 21 cases in Balqa, and 16 cases In Aqaba Governorate, 3 cases in Madaba, 6 cases in Tafileh Governorate, 8 cases in Ramtha District, 3 cases in Ma’an Governorate, and 4 cases in Petra Province.

Today, 12 deaths affected by the virus were recorded in the Kingdom, bringing the total number of deaths affected by the virus in the Kingdom to 9,812 cases.

On the other hand, the number of recovery cases for this day reached 361, while the total expected recovery cases (after the 14-day isolation period) reached 738,873 cases, and the number of hospital discharges for this day reached 55 cases.

With regard to the number of hospital admissions for today, it has reached 57, while the number of confirmed cases receiving treatment in hospitals has reached 480.

According to the summary, the percentage of positive tests for this day reached 2.86% of the total of 19,318 examinations for this day, bringing the total laboratory tests in the Kingdom since the start of the pandemic to 80,30848 examinations.
