Today, Thursday afternoon, the city of Salt witnessed riots against the background of the killing of a young man after he was injured during a mass quarrel that took place in the city weeks ago, during which a number of young people gathered and closed main roads with stones and burning tires.

According to the correspondent of the Jordan News Online newspaper, the streets that were closed and riots witnessed a heavy security presence to establish security and order and reopen the closed streets to citizens and vehicles, after removing the remnants of the riots from these streets.

Information obtained by Akhbar Al-Jordan electronic newspaper from local sources in the city indicates that the outbreak of these riots came due to the lateness of the director of the city’s security center / Salt, to attend the renewal of “Al-Atwa”, which angered the people of the murdered person.
