American media have wondered why Ivanka, the daughter of former President Donald Trump, disappeared from the limelight in recent weeks, after she was the focus of widespread attention, as she waited for the completion of the construction of her $31 million “palace of dreams.”

According to Trump biographer Michael Dantonio, the reason behind this is a big problem, adding that Ivanka faces the fate of the Trump Organization’s financial director, Allen Weisselberg, who is currently on trial on 15 criminal charges; For tax evasion of up to $2 million, over 15 years.

D’Antonio said, in an interview with CNN, that the crimes that pursued Weisselberg are no different from the things he believes Ivanka did while working with her father’s company.

“The other person who thought he was in trouble right now is Ivanka,” he added.

He pointed out that one of the charges against Weiselberg revolves around taking the money as a contractor, and then claiming that he is self-employed, in an attempt to obtain more of some of the retirement benefits that the tax law allows for the self-employed.

He said that Ivanka Trump received large sums of money as a non-permanent employee of the foundation, and this resulted in the Trump Organization being exempted from a large portion of the taxes.

And he considered that the United States IRS has many questions in this regard, adding: “I think that everything they (Ivanka and Weisselberg) did was done in a roundabout way.”

In the same vein, legal expert Cynthia Alexsen said she believes Ivanka could be the next member of Trump’s inner circle facing criminal charges.

And press reports spoke of the need to raise the concerns of the Trump family, especially his eldest son, Donald Jr.

And Michael Cohen, a former lawyer for Trump, quoted the latter as saying that he was ready to let Donald Jr.
