The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that yesterday evening, the main operations room in the Zarqa Governorate Police Directorate was informed of the presence of a dead body of a person lying on the side of a road in the Al Dhalil area in Zarqa Governorate.

She added that the cadres of the criminal investigation, the police directorate and the criminal laboratory moved to the place and it was found after the forensic medicine and the public prosecutor revealed that the body belonged to a person in his thirties who was strangled and stabbed in different parts of his body, which led to his death.

And the media spokesperson indicated that an investigation team from the Zarqa Criminal Investigation Department and the Zarqa Police Directorate took over the investigation of the case and began collecting information about it. The investigation is still ongoing in preparation for his transfer to the Public Prosecutor.
