Each year 500,000 new people develop cancer. Eating the right food can reduce the risk of cancer, such as eating lots of fruits, vegetables and fish and less sugar, however other foods have the opposite effect. According to experts, for example, eating 100 grams of red meat per day increases the risk of colon cancer by 17 percent.
Cancer cells have a special taste. They give up fruit and have a craving for sweets. Oncologist Jutta Hubner talks about the latest research on the relationship between nutrition and cancer.

500 grams of flavonoids Eating flavonoids (compounds found in abundant vegetables and fruits) daily significantly reduces the rate of death from cancer, this was shown in the Danish Demographic Study Evaluation, Diet, Cancer and Health, published in August 2019 with 56,000 participants. 500 grams of flavonoids are obtained from five servings of fruits and vegetables such as apples, oranges or blueberries.
