Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, said that the interest and determination to address the Corona virus pandemic should not be at the expense of other health problems.

Al-Hawari added, during his sponsorship of the conclusion of the activities of the “Second International Medical Authority” conference, today, Monday, that the timing of the conference plays an important role in highlighting the ability of health cadres, including doctors, nurses and technicians, whether governmental, military or private, to harmonize between responding to the virus and facing problems. health and provide necessary services to patients.

He pointed out that the scientific papers presented at the conference organized by the Subcommittee of the Medical Syndicate in Salt will contribute significantly to developing the health work system to meet the challenges.

The head of the conference, Chairman of the Subcommittee of Salt Doctors, Dr. Rami Abu Rumman, said that the conference discussed about 350 working papers and scientific research, and more than a thousand researchers and doctors participated in it.

And he indicated that the scientific papers presented at the conference over a period of five days, embodied success stories written by the White Army, with its various specializations and governmental, private and military references, in overcoming the challenges imposed by the pandemic. A knowledge and a haven for researchers about the latest developments in the various health sciences, indicating that it will remain an international and periodic conference.

He stressed that the participants from the medical, nursing and technical cadres presented the scientific developments with distinction and competence and showed their knowledge and skills in a remarkable way.

At the end of the conference, the Chairman of the Executive Committee, Dr. Hakam Maadat, the Chairman of the Scientific Committee, Dr. Muhannad Al-Nsour, the Conference Coordinator, Dr. Muthanna Qaddah, and the Director of Salt Health Dr. Saeb Abu Aboud spoke.

The speakers stressed the importance of holding the conference in light of the coronavirus pandemic and the need to provide health care to citizens, stressing the importance of implementing the conference’s recommendations.

The conference recommended the need to take advantage of modern technologies in holding medical conferences, which would enhance prevention and raise the quality of health services provided to citizens. He also recommended strengthening partnership and harmonization between the private and governmental medical sectors to ensure the provision of integrated and distinguished health services that respond to emergency conditions such as epidemics and infectious diseases.

In its recommendations, the conference called for encouraging citizens to receive health information from its official sources, which are working hard to update it constantly.
