The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate clarified the incident of the killing of a seven-year-old child after he was treated in hospital yesterday. It was found that the child had been beaten and burned by hot water being poured on him by his father and his adoptive mother. The media spokesman added that, through the Department of Family and Juvenile Protection, three children of the deceased child’s brothers (all of them of foreign nationality and adopted) were sent to the hospital and examined, and it was found that one of them had also been beaten and the necessary treatment was provided.

A file was opened for a social study of the three children, and they were kept in one of the care homes to protect and preserve them and ensure that they would not be harmed in the future.
