The Public Integrity and Anti-Corruption Public Prosecutor decided to detain a person on charges of forgery for 15 days pending investigation at Juwaida Correction and Rehabilitation Center.

In the details, according to an official source in the authority, he said that this defendant presented a forged-signed bill of exchange to a bank with a value of (900,000) dinars in an attempt to seize money from one of the bank’s deceased clients. When it became clear to her that there was a suspicion of corruption, she referred her to the Public Prosecution office last May.

The source added that the authority dealt in earlier times with several such issues, which calls for the attention of citizens and bank administrations.
