The two Lebanese professionals in the Al-Faisaly and Al-Ramtha football teams, Hilal Al-Helweh and Majed Othman, left Amman, protesting against the non-disbursement of their financial dues, and thus demanding the termination of their contracts.
Al-Faisaly Al-Hilweh professional left Amman, heading to Germany, while Al-Ramtha Othman professional left heading to Lebanon, to search for a new playing destination.
The two players demanded the management of the two clubs to formally terminate their contracts, with the payment of the late financial dues.
Lawyer Imad Hanayneh, who is in charge of defending the Lebanese professionals, said that Al-Hilweh and Othman left Jordan after not paying their financial dues, despite the two warnings directed to the two clubs to pay the dues.
Al-Hanaina said today, Sunday, that Al-Hilweh and Othman had previously issued an official warning to the two clubs, to pay the dues, without receiving a positive response, allowing them to terminate the contract 14 days after the warning.
The lawyer pointed out that Othman refused to participate in the Ramtha match yesterday against the Baqaa team in the professional league, due to non-payment of dues, noting that the professional returned to Lebanon.
He added: The two Lebanese professionals are on their way to file an official complaint against the Al-Faisaly and Al-Ramtha clubs in the International Football Association “FIFA”, in the event that the two clubs do not pay their dues.
Al-Faisaly had issued an official statement yesterday, in which he said that Al-Helweh came to Amman last Thursday, before leaving for Turkey without the club’s knowledge, which is contrary. (Petra)
