A distinction must be made between ripe and unripe bananas, as they are practically different products. In the first case, the fruits contain a lot of fiber.

He told nutritionist Pavel Isanbayev that it is best to avoid green bananas for people with digestive problems.

At the same time, ripe bananas contain a large amount of sugar and are not recommended for people prone to high glucose levels.

The specialist pointed out that “unripe bananas should not be eaten by those who suffer from poor digestion of fiber, as there are problems in the intestines, pancreas and gallbladder. In this case, unripe bananas cause bloating.”
