Today, Saturday, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Nayef Al-Fayez, revealed that a program specialized in visiting shrines and shrines will be launched next week.
Al-Fayez explained, in televised statements, that the program will be internal at first, then it will be marketed by tourism and travel offices and will be highlighted.
He pointed out that there is work on a special application for shrines and shrines, as well as a program that “must be launched for religious tourism that follows a visit to Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and occupied Jerusalem … but the Corona conditions stopped its continuation and follow-up.”
Today, His Majesty King Abdullah II visited the shrines of the Companions in the southern shrine, and prayed in Jaafar bin Abi Talib Mosque.
The shrines in the southern shrine include the tombs of the companions Zaid bin Haritha, Jaafar bin Abi Talib and Abdullah bin Rawahah – may God be pleased with them -.
Al-Fayez said that the King’s visit confirms the importance of the sites, adding that the King is constantly following up on their reconstruction, maintenance and preservation.
