An official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army said that the northern military region thwarted, today, Saturday, an infiltration attempt on one of its facades by a person who tried to cross the border illegally.

The source indicated that the rules of engagement were applied, which led to his arrest and transfer to the competent authorities.

The source stressed that the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army will deal with all force and firmness with any infiltration or smuggling attempt to protect the borders and prevent those who try to tamper with Jordan’s national security.
