It was decided to postpone the press conference for the match between our national team and South Sudan, which was scheduled for this afternoon, as the two teams are supposed to meet tomorrow in the Qatari capital, Doha, in the Arab Football Cup qualifiers.
And it seems that the postponement of the press conference came after the Corona virus raided 8 South Sudanese players, and six of them were placed under surveillance for contact with the infected.
It is expected that the next few hours will witness an official decision on the fate of tomorrow’s match.
And the South Sudan national team had undergone a Corona examination again this afternoon, as the new results were not issued.
The results of the first examination showed the injury of 8 South Sudan players, along with a member of the technical staff.
Yesterday, our team began its training in Doha, led by the new coach, the Iraqi Adnan Hamad.
The winner of the match will qualify for the Arab Cup finals to be held in Qatar.
8 players from South Sudan were infected with Corona a day before the Al-Nashami match
