The International Astronomy Center revealed that the Eid al-Adha pause for this year, 2021, will be on Monday, July 19 next.
According to Al-Masry Al-Youm, the International Astronomy Center confirmed that Monday, the 19th of next July, will be the day of Eid al-Adha.
According to this date, only 27 days remain until the date of Eid al-Adha, which will start from Tuesday 20 July to Friday 23rd of the same month.
Regarding the Eid prayer, the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf has decided the method of its performance. The Minister of Endowments, Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, confirmed, in a video clip on his official YouTube channel, that the Eid al-Adha prayer will be held in all mosques where Friday prayers are performed only without its establishment in the squares. He stressed that it is not allowed to establish it in the corners, or chapels, or mosques in which Fridays are not held, or in the streets, squares, or in the streets.
The Minister of Awqaf stressed the commitment to all precautionary and preventive controls and measures that are adhered to in Friday prayers and all other prayers, including accompanying the chapel, wearing a mask, and social distancing measures.
It is noteworthy that Eid al-Fitr was, according to astronomical calculations, on Thursday, May 13th, when it fell on the first of Shawwal.
