New research related to the special side effects of some Corona vaccines has reached results contrary to expectations, as some news and information spread on social media claimed that some vaccines reduce male fertility, but the results of research proved the opposite.
Researchers and scientists from the University of Miami studied the effects of certain vaccines on the sperm count of recently vaccinated men, and compared the results to the sperm count they had before the vaccination.
The results of the study, published by the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, confirmed that vaccines against “Covid 19” do not reduce the number or quality of sperm in men, but on the contrary, they may increase the amount of semen produced by a man.
According to the source, research did not find any decrease in the number of sperm in men who received one or two doses of the “Pfizer” vaccine or the “Moderna” vaccine. Rather, the results proved, according to the source, that the final average number of sperm among the men who received these vaccines has risen.
The team says that these results contradict the false narrative that spread on social media pages, which launched a campaign against anti-Corona vaccines and claimed that they affect fertility.
And the study published in the “JAMA” research network stated, “The team recruited 45 men between the ages of 18 and 50 years, all of whom had no previously registered case of infection with the Corona virus and did not show symptoms of the virus.”
After about a week of abstinence, and before receiving the first dose of the vaccine, semen analysis was performed on the men.
And their sperm count was analyzed again 70 days after they received the second dose of the Corona vaccines.
According to the study, “the average number of sperm increased from 26 million cells per milliliter of fluid (m/ml) to 30 million cells per milliliter of fluid (m/ml), an increase of about 22%.
The largest increase in sperm count was about 90%, and the largest decrease was about 20%. The sperm volume and sperm motility also increased significantly.
According to the source, these increases may not be due to the vaccine, and may fall within the normal fluctuations in sperm count, but they prove that the vaccine has no effect on male fertility, at least.
