Tourism Minister Nayef Al-Fayez said that King Abdullah II, during his meeting with representatives of the tourism sector, directed the need to return as soon as possible to safe tourism to support the economy, through domestic and foreign tourism, and within the appropriate conditions and procedures.

Al-Fayez told “Amn FM” radio that the king’s message yesterday was clear, as he called for partnership between the private and public sectors and working within one team to face all challenges.

Al-Fayez indicated that Aqaba and the surrounding areas in the Golden Triangle have reached very high vaccination rates, which allow access to a green area, through joint coordination with all parties.

He pointed out that the most important challenge currently is how to maintain preventive measures despite the preparation of vaccinations that we have reached in the tourism sector.
