On Sunday, the head of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, said, “We have come to Jerusalem and the liberation and return are closer, and I swear that we are soon to pray in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, liberating and purifying.”

Al-Sinwar added in a short speech to him at the Conference of Clans and Notables of Palestine to Support the Resistance and Support Al-Quds, which was held in Gaza City, that our people with all its components are the ones who made victory in the Battle of Jerusalem with their patience over hunger, siege and wars, and that the nature of the Palestinians did not change with campaigns of normalization and defeat.

In his response to one of the notables who wished to have a grave in Jerusalem, Sinwar said: You will, God willing, in our occupied land and in Jerusalem a palace and not a grave

Al-Sinwar affirmed that he is confident that many of you (the notables) who have reached a very old age will have the spirit of youth in them on the day of the Great March, and they will race for Kalashnikovs and wrestle with the youth, and we are about to pray in the Al-Aqsa Mosque with an enhanced liberation.
