Al-Nabulsi honors the first Jordanian female divers with Down syndrome – news agency and comprehensive newspaper

Today, Sunday, the Minister of Youth, Muhammad Al-Nabulsi, honored diver Aya Mukhaimer, who is considered the first Jordanian female diver with Down syndrome, and a member of the exemplary Zarqa Youth and Women Center, as part of the “Al Hadab” initiative.
The ministry sponsors the initiative that works to integrate people with special needs and participants with Down syndrome into the tourism promotion and education process in Jordan.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Youth today, Nabulsi stressed that the ministry, in coordination with various government institutions, is fully prepared to provide all forms of support required for the success and dissemination of the idea of the initiative, and the achievement of its objectives.
He added that integrating the Down syndrome category into youth work is one of the ministry’s priorities and will take care of its attention.
The honoring ceremony was attended by the executive officer of the “Al-Hadab” initiative, Muhammad Al-Maaytah, the initiative’s media spokesperson, Panda Masa’idah, and the mother of the diver, Aya Mukhaimer.
Diver Aya Mukhaimer said that she seeks to promote tourism, by introducing people to the tourist areas in Jordan, with their different nature and advantages.
For her part, Panda Masa’dah said that the initiative works to integrate persons with disabilities and participants with Down syndrome in the process of implementing volunteer, awareness, and educational activities in the field of tourism.
