A security source confirmed that a young man was attacked with sharp tools in the city of Irbid by unknown persons after trying to defend a 14-year-old girl who had been attacked by them.
According to the source, the young man was taken to the hospital and his general condition is stable, while an investigation has been opened into the incident.
