Today, Friday, the Royal Navy and Royal Boats rescued citizens who were on board a boat that had been subjected to a technical malfunction that led to the loss of control, stranding and approaching rocky and coral areas.

A specialized naval team consisting of two ambulances and the force’s maritime patrol towed the boat to the nearest safe sea anchorage to prevent injuries or material losses.

It is noteworthy that the Naval Force Command and the Royal Boats constantly carry out similar rescue operations, in addition to its main duty to protect the borders, prevent infiltration and smuggling, and maintain maritime security within the territorial waters.
