MPs’ tourism meets workers dismissed from the economic obstacle

The Parliamentary Tourism, Antiquities and Public Services Committee met, during its meeting, today, Wednesday, headed by MP Obaid Yassin, a number of dismissed workers from the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, recently.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Administrative Committee, Dr. Ali Al-Tarawneh, MPs Abdul Rahim Al-Awaysha, Tammam Al-Riyati, Eid Al-Naimat, Islam Al-Tabashat, Wael Razzouk, Ali Al-Ghazawi, and a number of dismissed workers, Yassin said that the committee will hold a meeting with the concerned parties in the “economic obstacle” to find out the reasons for the dismissal of this category. of the workers.

Tarawneh, in turn, said that he will hold a meeting, to be determined later, that will include the Parliamentary Labor and Administrative Committees, the Ministers of State for Legal Affairs and Labor, and the heads of the Councils of the Aqaba Economic Commission and Authority, to find out the reasons for the dismissal of these workers.

A number of dismissed workers had submitted a complaint to Parliamentary Tourism about their dismissal.
