The national basketball team qualified for the Asian Cup finals to be held in Indonesia, after beating its Kazakh counterpart by 80 points to 70 points in the match that was held on Sunday evening at Prince Hamzah Hall, for the sixth group in the Asian Cup qualifiers.

The match witnessed an exchange of possession between the two teams over the course of the four games, thus deciding the match in his favour. The team raised its score to 8 points in second place behind Kazakhstan, which has 10 points, knowing that the team has two matches remaining against Palestine and Sri Lanka. The national team will meet its Palestinian counterpart tomorrow, Monday, at Prince Hamzah Hall, in the sixth group competitions.
