The Council of Ministers decided in its session held today, Sunday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, to approve exempting companies working in the field of advertising and billboards, located within the borders of the Greater Amman Municipality, the Municipalities and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, from the fees incurred on billboards for the year 2020 by 50 percent. percent of advertising fees for the whole year.

The decision comes with the aim of alleviating the burdens incurred by companies operating in the field of advertising and external advertising as a result of the Corona pandemic, and maintaining the sustainability of this sector, provided that the amount of amounts collected for licensing billboards is taken into account before the reduction decision takes effect, and the amount of the reduction is credited to the benefit of the license holder. .

The Council of Ministers also approved the framework agreement and the executive program for cultural cooperation with the government of the Republic of Tunisia, within the framework of strengthening relations and cultural cooperation with brotherly Arab countries in the fields of culture and intangible cultural heritage, and with the aim of strengthening cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries.

On the other hand, the Council of Ministers decided to appoint Abdul Rahim Al-Hazaymeh as general manager of the Orphans Fund Development Foundation, according to the results of the competition conducted according to the system of appointment to leadership positions, and after obtaining the highest results among all applicants for the job.
