Al Bawassa – Palestine announced, on Tuesday, that the file of Palestinian homes threatened with confiscation by settlers in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood has been transferred to the International Criminal Court.

The spokesman for the Palestinian government, Ibrahim Melhem, said on his official Facebook page, that “Under the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas, the file of the targeted houses for their seizure in Sheikh Jarrah was transferred to the International Criminal Court as a war crime in accordance with the Rome Statute, and a clear violation of international law and international law. Humane ”.

For days, tension has been prevailing in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, after the Israeli forces threatened a number of Jerusalemite families to evacuate their homes in favor of settlement associations.

And on Sunday, the Israeli Supreme Court postponed issuing its decision in this regard, and gave the two parties four days (that is, until next Thursday), to reach an agreement between them, before issuing its final decision.

The decision sparked official and factional Palestinian rejection and condemnation, and the residents expressed their rejection of the decision, as it recognized the legitimacy of the claims of (Israeli) settlers that they own homes.
