Muhammad Jamal, who is in charge of managing football activities in Al-Wehdat, confirmed that the Football Association refused to transfer the team’s match in the league against Al-Salt, scheduled for May 14, to Amman International Stadium, instead of King Abdullah II Stadium in Qweismeh.

Jamal said in statements to the official website of the Al-Wehdat club: “The secretary of the Al-Wehdat club has addressed two letters to the Football Association regarding the necessity to transfer our confrontation in front of Al-Salt to the Al-Wehdat Stadium (the home stadium) to Al-Wehdat without being attentive, as our demand was not responded to.”

He continued: “The surprise is that the Football Association put up the same day of our match with Al-Salt, facing Al-Jazeera and Al-Faisali at the Amman Stadium, which raises the surprise of its refusal to transfer this match to King Abdullah II Stadium in Qweismeh.

And he added, “I spoke by phone with the director of the Competitions Department, Awad Al-Shaibat, about transferring the match, and stressed the difficulty of achieving this without providing convincing reasons.”

Jamal explained, “We will insist on obtaining our rights, and according to the instructions and justice, our match with Al-Salt must be held at Amman Stadium.”

He continued: “We will not give up our right except in the event that justice is implemented, and the Qweismeh stadium is approved for the home and away matches between Al-Wehdat and Al-Salt.”

Jamal indicated that a formal objection had been lodged against the ruling of the Galilee match, which Al-Wehdat won by three without a response in the league, due to the presence of influential errors.

It is noteworthy that Al-Wehdat player Munther Abu Amara was recklessly pushed inside the penalty area and close to the referees, but the ball was not counted, which angered the players.
